Andhra couple killed in Boston

Warangal, Sept 25 :

A couple belonged to Andhra Pradesh were killed on the spot and another three injured seriously in a road mishap that took place in Boston in United States of America on Wednesday night. The deceased couple was hailing from Hanmakonda in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh. The couple was identified as Venukonda Venkat Rami Reddy (55) and Bhagyalakshi(45).  Among the three injured, who are undergoing treatment at the Boston’s hospital, the couple’s son Sripal Reddy was seriously injured. The couple went to America to see their son, who was doing research for his PhD in Boston, four days back, according to the family sources.Sripal Reddy’s wife is doing MSc in Botson University. The mishap occurred when the couple, son and daughter-in-law were retuning to Botson after attending a function in a friends house. 

The mishap took place when their car lost control and rammed into a tree in the early hours of Friday. Deceased Bhagyalakshmi is working as teacher in Parakala mandalum in Warangal district. Rami Reddy has a medical store in Veenavanka mandal. However, Botson police said that they lost their life as they are not wearing safety belts during journey in the car.
