Special counseling session for vacant Engineering seats on Oct 5

 A special counseling session will be conducted for remaining vacant seats in the Engineering colleges on October 5. Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education Chairman Prof K C Reddy on Saturday stated that this will be the last chance for students who are not satisfied with their previous seat allotments in the web-based counseling to opt for better colleges and branches.

He said that about 3,500 seats would be filled in 15 Engineering and nine pharmacy colleges. The special counseling session came as a blessing in disguise for thousands of students who expressed anguish over the seat allotments in the two phases of web counseling. Earlier, the students alleged that they were allotted seats in sub-standard colleges located in semi-urban and rural areas while allotting good colleges to other students with inferior marks in Eamcet.
