Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (Ttd) Executive Officer (EO) I Y R Krishna Rao on Friday requested the all district officials to work in a mission mode to make success the fifth phase of Kalyanamasthu programme to be conducted on October 28 across the state. Talking to media persons, the Executive officer said the marriages would be held at the fixed auspicious time between 09.20 hrs and 09.32 hrs in Dhanista Nakshatram on Vrishika Lagna. He requested the collectors to open a joint account separately with suitable district-level officers and intimate the bank account number to the Chief Accounts Officer of Ttds. Money will be transferred to the account as per the following fixed months, he said.
The Ttd would appoint special officers to create awareness on Kalyanamasthu programme. The officer would take all necessary steps for those, who registered for marriage, to prevent any untoward incidents in the programme. He said the married couple can have the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala, along with their family members within 60 days in free darshan. The Ttd would release Rs 50,000 for conducting Avagahana Sadassu at district level and another Rs 50,000 to meet the expenditure for each constituency, he added.
