This is an age where ‘Religious Conversions’ are happening for mere economical benefits and specially the Conversion rate among Hindus to Christians is raising in number making Hindu Activists to shout loud from the roof-top on such heinous acts. At this juncture, Mahatma Gandhi being baptized in proxy by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) appearing in news sections has drawn a sharp reaction from Hindus.
As per the research of Helen Radkey, Gandhi was baptized on March 27, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah and a confirmation was completed on November 17, 2007 at Sao Paulo Brazil Temple. The same record was seen by Radkey on February 16, 2012 but disappeared from database soon. ‘How can people do something when a person is dead and there is nobody to answer that? It bothers me,’ says Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
