Rajeswari’s death TDP MLA Sita Dayakar Reddy to be arrested soon:DGP

Hyderabad,Oct 20:The Director General of Police (DGP), Girish Kumar, on Tuesday stated that the police will arrest those who are involved in the death of a physically challenged woman agriculture officer B Rajeswari at Devarakadra mandal in Mahabubnagar district.Talking to media persons, the DGP said following directions from the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), the police will initiate suo motu criminal contempt proceedings against the guilty, who were responsible for her alleged harassment.In the death declaration of Rajeswari, he said that she mentioned the name of Muthkal TDP MLA Sita Dayakar Reddy also.

Action would be taken against Sita Dayakar Reddy after receiving some documents from concerned departments in this connection, the DGP explained.However, MLA Sita Dayakar Reddy denied her involvement in the death of Rajeswari and termed it politically motivated to tarnish her image.She would be ready for any investigation conducted by the police department, Sita Dayakar Reddy said.She asked the government to extend all help for the family members of Rajeswari both morally and financially.
