Hyderabad, Oct 28: The Central Administrative Tribunal (Cat) on Wednesday lifted the suspension orders on K V Brahmananda Reddy, managing director of state-owned Aviation Corporation Limited and directed the government to allow him to resume duty.According to sources, K V Brahmananda Reddy was suspended for allegedly delaying in arranging a helicopter for Chief Minister K Rosaiah to undertake an aerial survey of flood-hit areas.
The Tribunal, after hearing the petition filed by Brahmananda Reddy, stated there was no reason to find a connection between helicopter crash which killed chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and for failing to provide a chopper for Chief Minister K Rosaiah to undertake an aerial survey of flood-hit areas.The Tribunal while suspending the orders issued by the state government directed it to allow him resumes duty.
