8 killed in various road mishaps

Medak, July 25 :-

  At least seven persons were killed on the spot and two others injured seriously in a road mishap that took place near Jaherabad in Medak district on Saturday.

Seven persons were killed when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided head on with a lorry at near Jaherabad.

According to the police, the auto was carrying eight passengers when the accident occurred.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. All the injured were rushed to the Medak district government hospital. All the deceased belonged to Mogudampalli village.

In another mishap that took place near Alluguda in Nallachruvu Mandalam in Anantapur district on Saturday, one child killed on the spot and another sustained serious injuries.

The mishap occurred when the school children are waiting for bus, a sumo, which lost control, run over on them.

The seriously injured child was admitted into hospital and her condition is stated to be critical.
