Cricket ticket racket busted

Hyderabad, Nov 4: The manager of Uppal e-seva centre and two security guards were arrested on charges of selling tickets in black for the India-australia One-dayer  scheduled for Nov 5 at Uppal Stadium.According to police,  the Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association had issued the tickets to e-seva centres  and some banks for sale. On a tip-off, the Uppal police reached the spot to buy tickets and arrested a security guards red-handed while he was selling the tickets for Rs 2000. The actual price of the ticket is Rs 1000. The police also arrested branch manager Chakravarti later for his alleged role in the racket.
