More buses connecting Khammam from today

Khammam, Nov. 10: The State Transport Corporation is introducing additional buses on identified roots from here on Wednesday.RTC Regional Manager Suresh Kumar announced here on Tuesday three high- tech bus services would ply from Khammam to Hyderabad daily. Super deluxe buses from Khammam to Kukatapalli, BHEL and ECIL in Hyderabad are being mulled in view of the public demand. “Four deluxe services will be operated to the temple town of Bhadrachalam and 12 services have already been operating between Bhadrachalam and Khammam,” he said.Suresh Kumar said two more deluxe services would start from Khammam to Vishakapatnam in place of express services.

 “In order to win away travellers going by jeeps and autos, we intend to run buses every 20 minutes from Khammam to Ellandu. Anyway, three additional services are being introduced from tomorrow,’’ he made it clear.Moreover,Suresh Kumar said one express service would be operated up to Hanmakonda in Warangal.“Ordinary services will also run from Khammam to Enkuru through Pallipadu,Gubbagurthi and Jannaram,” he said,adding about 46 Palle Velugu services were introduced in various routes of the district this year.
