10 hurt as bus-oilk tanker collide

Khammam,Nov 17: Ten persons were injured in a road accident at Thallada Ring Road Centre near here on Tuesday afternoon.The mishap occurred after a speeding oil- tanker hit a Khammam-bound APSRTC bus. According to Thallada police, the oil- tanker, which was coming from Sattupalli hit the bus, that was coming from Kothagudem at the Ring Road Centre in Thallada.

The drivers of both the vehicles and eight passengers were injured in the incident. Oil- tanker driver Md. Javed, 26,of jarkhand and bus driver B. Purnachandar Rao, 46, of Khammam district were injured. The drivers who were in critical condition were shifted to the Government Hospital at Khammam. The police registered a case and are investigating it.
