When ‘flights of fancy’ lead to Delhi

Hyderabad, Jan 4:The Shamshabad international airport here was thronged by hundreds of supporters of Telangana movement and Integrated  Andhra on Monday.Despite the bandh in coastal and Rayalaseema regions, the supporters sneaked in from various destinations to see off their leaders at the airport. Some of them even accompanied their leaders up to Delhi at their own cost.This strange situation caused a lot of inconvenience to other flight passengers and their kin who came  to see them off at the airport.

 Flight tickets to Delhi were in great demand and passengers bound for Delhi on genuine business or personal work were the worst sufferers.The press had a tough time handling the situation as most of the Delhi-bound leaders took turns to grant interviews.In a bizarre incident at the airport, a number of Telangana Rashtra Samiti  cadre fell at the feet of Vijayawada  MP Lagadapati Rajagopal appealing him not to stand in the way of Telangana formatio
