Hyderabad, Jan 16: Minister for Civil Supplies Jupalli Krishna Rao said on Saturday that Chief Minister K Rosaiah has told officials to complete the process of weeding out the bogus ration cards by the end of February.Mr Krishna Rao was speaking to media persons after attending the Chief Minister’s review meeting with officials of the Civil Supplies Department.

Giving details of the meeting, the Minister said the government has decided to purchase red gram through the Marketing Department to bring its spiralling price under control.Mr Krishna Rao said  in view of shortage of kerosene, each white card holder in the municipalities, mandals and villages would be supplied eight, four and two litres of kerosene respectively and half-a-kg sugar would be supplied to each white card holder due to scanty sugar stocks.
