New Flint glass unit in AP

Hyderabad, Jan 19: The Hindusthan National Glass and Industries on Tuesday announced that the company is planning to set up a manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh.The new flint glass manufacturing unit will have a capacity of 450 tpd which will be utilised in liquor, food and beverages industries.

An agreement to this effect will be signed by the company with the government of Andhra Pradesh soon after the land acquisition formalities are completed.The company's shares declined on Tuesday by just Rs 4.35 or 1.84%, to settle at Rs 232.50. The total volume of shares traded in the day was 44,999 at the BSE.
