Vehicle parking charges in Hyderabad - 100Rs!

It might be shocking for most of the NRI’s. Who said you that living expenses in Hyderabad are comparatively lower when compared to other cities in India? If you have any doubts, please just have a glance at Hyderabad’s famous All India Industrial Exhibition in Nampally.

This is a massive event which attracts huge crowds from city and surrounding areas. No one misses this grand exhibition called as ‘Numaish’ as it is the biggest and largest of its kind on entire planet Earth. Not just the patrons, even shopkeepers, auto wallahs, taxi stand owners…everyone cash upon this grand gala.

With ongoing T-agitation, there is obviously a decline in the activity around Numaish. But government and private owners have found a new strategy to cover the deficit. If ticket prices for the weekends have been hiked from Rs.10 to Rs.20 by the Government, parking stands have unified the rating system as Rs.100 per vehicle.

Sources say that, this is turning out to be a huge burden on middle and low class families as they eagerly wait for this grand extravaganza. Taking advantage of the situation, Auto wallahs have even hiked their prices to minimum Rs.30 unofficially.

Either Police or Government has nothing much to look after these petty issues as Traffic Police are also busy making money from this Numaish  by collecting fines on vehicle owners by making their addas near by Exhibition grounds.

For Hyderabadi’s it’s a warning that, ‘Be Aware’ when you leave for a weekend to Numaish and for NRI’s that is the living standards you need to maintain here in Hyderabad folks.
