India Takes Over Top Spot From England

India take their place as the top-ranked side in ODIs after winning all the matches they played in the Cricket World Cup 2019, although one match against New Zealand was washed out due to rain. India now tops the list with 123 points.

After three defeats in the ongoing mega tournament, England have fallen from the number one spot in the ICC men's ODI team rankings that they've held since May 2018. In fact, the team which was a favorite to win the World Cup is in a position to win the next matches to reach semi finals. With Australia’s victory over England the other day, they have entered the semis. India needs just one or two wins in their next four games to get into semies.
