HRC serious on Sambhavi

Again State Human Rights Commission Chairman Subhashan Reddy has delivered a sensational verdict in the case of self proclaimed goddess Sambhavi. Subhashan Reddy has looked this case thoroughly in the light of ‘Child Rights’ ordering Sambhavi’s parents Usharani and Sowmayacharya to join their child in school immediately with in a week.

‘Sambhavi can continue her religious preachings but not at the loss of her childhood freedom. Sambhavi should enjoy all the previliges that are normally available to children of her age. She should be joined in a school and their parents have no right to convince Sambhavi as a goddess with divine powers. How can this little girl be a goddess?’ questioned Subhashan Reddy.

Meanwhile, news came out that Sambhavi’s ashram which was looted few days ago by thieves in Suryanandi, Kurnool district is now been vacated by their parents and Sambhavi is moved to an undisclosed location. After the harsh judgement on ‘Aata,’ HRC has again showed its concern on Child Rights.
