Behind the Movie “A Aa E Ee” : Hero Srikanth after delivering a message oriented 100th movie “Mahatma” is now with a comedy entertainer. Meera Jasmine who is almost out of the film industry is once again working for Director Srinivas Reddy, who is known for his exclusive comic touch which is enjoyed by wide scale of mass audience. Heroine Sada with a bold new and hot look was watering the mouths from a long time. With many financial, technical and all kind of hurdles crossed “A Aa E Ee” arrives today to entertain the audience. After the low budget “Village Lo Vinayakudu” hitting the screens yesterday; here is the second low budgeted movie which is released this week.
In the Movie “A Aa E Ee”: Movie begins with Chandram (Srikanth), a cab driver happily living with his wife Kalyani (Meera Jasmine) and grand mother (Shakuntala). The biggest trouble in their lives is that Kalyani never became pregnant. During the happy moments when Kalyani is pregnant, doctor (Kinnera) reveals that Kalyani is suffering with a heart disease which may affect both mother and child and needs urgent operation which costs 8 lakhs. Chandram struggling for money finds a dead body on the railway track along with a bag full of money. With the suggestion of his friend (Krishna Bhagawan), Chandram commits before the police that the dead body which is torn off into pieces is of his wife Ramya (Sada), a photo which is found in the bag. With in very few days, Ramya’s parents Vishwanatham and his wife (Tanikella and Kavitha) find Chandram and express their mistake of not accepting their daughters love. While the story is making its way, Ramya enters the movie as a girl who is still alive and tries to know about Chandram. The real twist is that Venkat (Venkat), the original lover of Ramya was a fraud and when Ramya tries to escape from him, Venkat kills his wife and the dead body found on the track is of Venkat’s wife. The only witness for all this being memory loss patient Rajini (Ali). Did Venkat really excuse Ramya, Chandram and pregnant Kalyani? or did this villain harm them? forms the climax.
Values of the Movie “A Aa E Ee”: Script writer & Director Srinivas Reddy’s touch was visible only in the parts. He tried to interweave the comedy part with in the story of the movie, but fell flat in implementation. Although sentimental scenes were good, weak and lame comedy suffered. First 30 to 45 minutes of the movie looked dull with no sufficient entertainment. Even Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala’s comedy looked awkward with double meaning expressions and dialogues. Movie picks up only in the second half providing some entertainment from Ali. Srinivas Reddy was unable to concentrate full fledged either on sentiment or on comedy. Anthalo Comedy, Inthalo Sentiment; movie looks out of track for majority of time. Music by Sri Lekha is good for few songs like “Entha Narakam” and “Mila Mila Meenakshi”, while back ground is just average. Goutham Raju’s editing is also the same. Vijay C Kumar’s photography has nothing special to offer for this low budget film. Producer Boddam Ashok Yadav and Shekhar have faced troubles to get this movie released and they are appreciable for that.
Hero Srikanth is good along the total length of the movie. Meera Jasmine is meant only for weeping. Sada enters late into the movie, almost second half. An attempt was made to trap the Glamour and sex appeal in Sada. But Srinivas Reddy’s angle towards female character artists was abnormal and abusive. Especially Ramya Sri and Apoorva aunties were used totally for masala purpose exposing their huge bodies and sexy curves. Kausha danced with all her assets out for an item song. MS, Krishna Bhagawan, Sunil, Uttej and other pack of comedy artists were totally wasted in “A Aa E Ee”.
Out of the Movie “A Aa E Ee”: When you look out for an entire comedy film from Srinivas Reddy in the lines of “Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters” or “Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila”, it is not so. Family audience cannot enjoy the comedy made with double meanings and abnormal porn kind of content. Meera Jasmine’s role may be liked by family audience but when you see the same rubbish content of Ramya and Apoorva aunties, the opinion changes. Venkat played the villain character, but may not get any mileage with the movie. With no sufficient doses of healthy comedy, “A Aa E Ee” will be a big upset as expected by most of the audience earlier.
Cine Josh Verdict “A Aa E Ee”: Masala & poor content for “B” & “C” Class centres may help producer to recover some money, else it is a big disappointment from Director Srinivas Reddy with this below average movie.
