Baby Movie: Artists Review

Anand Devarakonda lived in the role of a young auto driver. He performed the role well as an innocent and sincere lover who goes to any extent to keep his lady love happy. He looked innocent while expressing his love and showed good emotional outbursts when he comes to know about the dark secrets of his lover. His body language, dialogue delivery, and expressions are natural and realistic. However at times, seeing him on screen, one gets a feeling that he is imitating his brother Vijay Devarakonda while trying to show more powerful emotions and intensity. He showed good feelings as a protective and possessive lover.

Vaishnavi Chaitanya steals the hearts of all with her intense and impactful performance. Vaishnavi Chaitanya's expressions and emotions while showing variations in her character are top-class. She did full justice to her role and carried the film on her shoulders as the entire film revolved around her. She not only delivered bold and powerful dialogues but also looked ultra glamorous. She also did intimate and kissing scenes with ease. Her scenes with Anand Devarakonda and Viraj Ashwin came out pretty well.

Viraj Ashwin looked stylish and handsome in the role of a rich and affluent student. He came up with good performance and at times dominated the lead pair. He also elevated the scenes with his expressions and emotions. The scenes featuring him, Anand Devarakonda, and Vaishnavi Chaitanya are good.

Naga Babu who played the role of Vaishnavi's father got an inconsequential role with just two dialogues. Others like Lirisha, Kusuma Degalamarri, Sathvik Anand, Babloo, Seetha, Mounika, and Keerthana performed accordingly.

Baby Movie: Technicians Review

Baby story readied by Sai Rajesh is a youthful romantic entertainer with an interesting twist. Sai Rajesh seems to have drawn inspiration from the real-life happenings in the Genex love stories and came up with the hard-hitting love story. He started the narration in a simple manner showing the blossoming of love between the lead pair Anand and Vaishnavi. Then Viraj is introduced and as the story progresses in a routine predictable and slow pace, the first half assumes the routine shades. However, the way the scenes between Aand and Vaishhavi are shown on the screen, maintained the curiosity feel among movie lovers intact.

The introduction of Viraj and the happenings between Viraj and Vaishnavi liven up the proceedings. The first half ends with a decent interval twist setting the tone for the second half. The real story starts in the second half and emotions reach the next level as the story progresses. The powerful dialogues and screenplay and script keep viewers glued to the screen. Sai Rajesh got the optimum performances from Anand, Viraj, and Vaishnavi and this elevated the emotions taking the film to another level.

The dialogues though bold, made a stunning impact. Sai Rajesh's story may be routine but he made it up for it with intense and powerful screenplay and impactful scenes. The pre-climax increases interest and the climax at times was dragged and finally it ends in an interesting manner.

Bal Reddy's cinematography is colorful. He beautified the film with his camera angles. The editing of Viplav Nyshadham is ok but could have been far better as there are many dags in the film which slowed the pace of the film. Production values of Mass Movie Makers are good.

  • Interval Block
  • Music
  • Cinematography

Baby Movie: Disadvantages

  • Lengthy Screenplay
  • Rushed Climax

Baby Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Baby is a hard-hitting Genex love story. Sai Rajesh who penned the story highlighted how current generation youngsters view love in such a shallow perspective. Sai Rajesh got impactful performances from Anand Devarakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin, and the bold scenes and dialogues, connect chords with the current generation of youngsters. With an interesting story, screenplay, and direction, Sai Rajesh drove home the point of the way love is viewed by the majority of youngsters and how young girls and guys are falling prey to it. A powerful message to the Genex youngsters cautioning about love hits them hard in their hearts. Considering all these points, Cinejosh goes with a 3 Rating for Baby.
