Circle Movie(2023): What's Behind

Neelakanta is making his comeback with a film titled Circle. The film's teaser and trailer generated interest with intense elements and let us find out what impact it made on the viewers. The film's OTT partner is yet to be finalised and digital streaming will be after the end of the theatrical run.

Circle Movie Story Review

Kailash ( Sai Ronak), a fashion photographer finds himself in a peculiar situation when he faces a life threat from a supari killer Puttur Ganesh ( Baba Bhaskar). 

Why he is facing a life threat and how artist Arundhuti ( Richa Panai), MP's daughter Malvika (Neha Yellareddy), and Rajasthani Princess Himani Rajput (Arshin Mehta)are connected to it, form the crux of the story.

Sai Ronak played the role of a fashion designer with ease. He showed good emotions and expressions according to the situation. He showed his romantic traits when romancing beautiful girls and changed his expression when he faced a life threat. He sported different looks to attract youngsters.

Baba Bhaskar as a supari killer made an impact with his one-liners and expressions. Richa Panai, Nyana Yallareddy, Arshin Mehta, Snehal Kamath, and Aakanksha Gade did justice to their roles. Richa, Nayana, and Arshin added glamour to the interesting story.

Circle Movie Technicians Review

Circle story penned by Neelakanta sought to highlight human emotions and relations and how their past comes haunting and how they make enemies inadvertently. Neelakanta's idea is unique and he started the narration in an interesting and exciting manner. The first half has romantic elements and also interesting conversation between the protagonist and the killer. This set the stage for the second half but the second half dealt only with one romantic affair and this diluted the aim of the story. In the end, Neelakanta sought to revive the main plot and it increases curiosity. Neelaknta should have struck to the plot by working on the story and the script which would have turned the screenplay strong.

Ranganath Gogineni with his camera angles beautified the film. He captured the natural and scenic locations in an appealing manner adding value to the product. The editing of Madhu Reddy is ok but could have been better in the second half where the pace dipped. NS.Prasu's tunes are youthful, romantic and the songs are shot in a beautiful way. Dialogues are youthful and the production values of Ara are good.

Circle Movie Rating Analysis

Altogether, Circle is a slice of life. Neelakanta with Circle highlighted the phases in the life of a youngster and how they come to haunt him. He drove home the concept of  'We don’t know when, how, whom we’ll make enemies'. A more intense screenplay and tighter script would have turned Circle into a powerful success cycle. Cinejosh goes with a 1.75 Rating for Circle.
