Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam, What’s Behind: Allari Naresh is absolutely out of form. He is now touching a rotten horror comedy genre in G Nageshwar Reddy direction, bankrolled by star producer BVSN Prasad. How far this film can revive Naresh’s fortunes, let’s see?

Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam Story: Naresh (Allari Naresh) is owner of a band troop falls in love with Indumathi (Krithika). In order to save one of the orphans under Indumathi control from a heart disease, Naresh arranges 3 Lakhs cash from a money lender. In search of cash for repayment, Naresh becomes a fake ghost buster to rescue a costly villa owned by rich businessman Gopal (Rajendra Prasad) haunted by evil spirit Swapna (Mouryani). How Sapna and Naresh are related? What’s Swapna flashback? Why was she murdered in past? 

Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam Artists and Technicians: Off late, horror comedy is the safest and weakest genre in Tollywood. All the struggling producers and actors are sticking to this genre because of high success rate. When we speak about Nageshwar Reddy and Naresh combination, we expect the best. Unfortunately, IDNB is the worst that is offered. From basic story point to screenplay and direction, Nageshwar Reddy’s negligence is profusely visible. Immature writers and those unrelated with film industry will pen better storylines than this. Reddy just threw all the hit horror comedy bits from past movies into a grinder and served a tasteless cocktail. Except some decent production values, none of the technical departments have worked genuinely. Diamond Rathnababu dialogues are deplorable. Dasarathi Shivendra camera work is appalling and Kotagiri’s editing is unpardonable like Sai Karthik’s unworthy music. Salute BVSN Prasad for investing on hopeless project.

About performances, Allari Naresh continued his confusion and chaos mindset with one more dud selection. Nowhere, he got scope to prove as an artist in this pathetically written role. Better Rajendra Prasad stop lowering the quality benchmarks set by and set for the self. Looks wise Krithika is beautiful but of no use. Mouryani is a right choice for the devil character. Chalapathi Rao, Shakalaka Shankar, Chammak Chandra, Prabhas Sreenu, Sana, Pragathi, Jayaprakash Reddy, Rajitha and others are agonizing. Brahmanandam, hmmm enough commenting… I am falling short of words.

Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam Rating Analysis: Enough of juicing horror comedy genre, there’s nothing left here. If producers and directors are further fascinated, they should really work on improvised writing instead of adopting, rehashing the same clichéd episodes lifted from past hits. Big sin Nageshwar Reddy committed is, he depended on a crippled storyline which in fact has many shades matching with ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada.’ Rather, the screenplay and treatment was superior in Nikhil’s flick. Comedy wise, Shakalaka Shankar and Chammak Chandra have become monotonous.

Right from the word go, taking us into a palatial guest house neither horror nor comedy clicked. Post the starting titles, Naresh’s introduction and his romantic track with Krithika are miserably dealt. OMG, Krithika running an orphanage and Naresh impressing her by spending 3 Lakhs saving a sick child is re-re-re-repeated formulaic episode. As love blossoms between them, problems bloom for us. Rajendra Prasad followed by his family members welcomed into the guest house aggravates our sorrows. Naresh and his batch faking as ghost busters are peaks of foolishness. It is interval time, the devil face of Mouryani is revealed and I was relaxed.

Into second half, Mouryani has a flashback and she is waiting in this bungalow for her Bava Naresh. In parallel, she also takes revenge against all those who killed her. This isn’t enough… Mouryani also has a desire to marry Naresh. What’s next? Can a devil and human being make a family? If you still have patience, go and ask the conjurer Kalakeya Prabhakar or buy the movie ticket to test your patience else stop reading IDNB reviews.

Box Office verdict for this kind of horror comedies is unquestionably a big dash. Allari Naresh lost all his judgment. There is no bigger inference than this. I wrap up and Cinejosh rates IDNB with pass marks of 2 stars just for a simple fact, this is made as feature film with decent budget.
