Manamey (2024) Movie: What's Behind

Sharwanand known for his versatility is coming to entertain movie lovers with his upcoming film Manamey. The film's feel good teaser and trailer caught the imagination of all. The film directed by Sriram Aditya is releasing and let us see what impact the film made on movie lovers.

Sharwanand's Manamey Movie: Story Review

Manamey story is all about how the life of a young and handsome guy who leads the life like a Playboy changes completely following the unexpected developments.

Vikram ( Sharwanand) leads the life like a Playboy when a startling happenings forces him to take a shocking decision. Where this leads to and how the life of his father (Sharad Khelkar), beautiful girl Subhadra( Krithi Shetty), Joseph ( Rahul Ravindran), Karthik(Shiva Kandukuri) changes form rest of the story.

Krithi Shetty's Manamey Movie: Artists Review

Sharwanand performed the role such is tailor made for him. He looked handsome and apt for the role of a Playboy. He came up with energetic and lively performance and showed good expressions and emotions. He added value to the scenes with his presence.

Krithi Shetty looked beautiful on the screen and especially in the songs. She delivered dialogues with ease. But her characterisation offered nothing much to her to take it to the next level.

Seerat Kapoor sparkled in a cameo and livened up with her bubbly performance. Shiva Kandukuri played an important role but the characterisation turns out to be weak. Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna are ok in their roles and others like Tanikella Bharani, Sharad khelkar performed accordingly.

Sriram Aditya's Manamey Movie: Technicians Review

Manamey story penned by Sriram Aditya turned out to be predictable and viewers watched similar plots in earlier films. He tried to bring in freshness with the help of music and few hilarious scenes. He filled the first half South comedy dialogues featuring Sharwanand and beautified the film with technical values. On the whole the first half turned out to be pretty average setting the stage for the second half

The second half turns out to be high on emotions but so those so called emotions turned out to be artificial and failed to connect chords with the movie lovers. Second half turns out to be a tedious watch with predictable scenes and narration. The pre climax and climax failed to connect chords turning out to be unintentionally funny. The story turned out to be predictable and while few scenes entertained with hilarious elements, viewers got disconnected with the emotions. Screenplay turned out to be average and so did the direction.

Hesham Abdul Wahab came with soulful music for the film. The songs are melodious and are shot in the backdrop of picturesque locations of London. All the songs are well choreographed. However with so many songs, one gets a feeling that the story is going no where.

His background score elevated the scenes in a beautiful manner. The cinematography of Vishnu Sarma,Gnana Sekar showed the beautiful locations in foreign in a lovely and appealing way. The editing of Prawin Pudi is ok and but could have been better as there are many drags in the film. The production values are rich.

Manamey Movie: Advantages

  • Sharwanand
  • Cinematography
  • Music, BGM
  • Climax

Manamey Movie: Disadvantages

  • Predictable Plot
  • No real drama
