Miral Review (2024) Movie: What's Behind

Bharath, known for his role in "Premisthe," and Vani Bhojan are set to captivate audiences with their new film, Miral. Directed by Sakthivel, the film is slated for release on May 17, 2024. Let's explore the impact it has made on movie lovers.

Miral Review (2024) Telugu Movie: Story Review

Miral story is all about a young couple and a child and how they deal when wife undergoes shocking experiences which puts their lives in danger. Rama (Vani Bhojan) begins to experience strange dreams and encounters a masked man attempting to scare her and harm her husband, Hari (Bharath), and their son, Sai (Master Ankit). Disturbed by these events, Hari decides to perform a ritual in Rama's village and takes the family there.

What follows is a series of mysterious and suspenseful developments. The story delves into how Rama's parents (KS Ravi Kumar and Meera Krishnan), Hari's friends Anand (Raj Kumar) and his wife Hema (Kaavya Arivumani), and a police officer (Arjai) are all connected to these eerie occurrences, forming the intriguing core of the narrative.

Miral Review (2024) Movie: Artists Review

Bharat delivers a satisfactory performance in his role, showcasing good expressions and body language in scenes depicting fear, anxiety, and love for his family. Vani Bhojan is commendable as the wife who experiences unexplained fears, bringing authenticity to her character. Raj Kumar impresses with his performance, effectively displaying a range of emotions. KS Ravi Kumar and Meera Krishnan are convincing in their roles as parents, adding depth to the family dynamic. Arjai, as the police officer, and Kaavya, as the mother, fulfill their roles adequately, contributing to the overall narrative.

BHarath's Miral Review Movie: Technicians Review

The story of Miral, crafted by director Sakthivel, offers little novelty. Sakthivel initially attempts to evoke fear using a mask and mirror, piquing interest, but the momentum quickly dissipates. The film's slow pace, routine scenes, and artificial characterizations significantly hamper its impact. The first half sets the stage for what promises to be an intriguing second half.

However, the convoluted screenplay fails to captivate viewers. The film ultimately concludes in a predictable manner, leaving audiences disappointed. Sakthivel does not deliver the necessary thrills to effectively scare viewers. Additionally, the dubbing appears out of sync for Telugu audiences, further detracting from the experience.

SN Prasad's music is passable, but his background score fails to leave a mark. Kalaivanan's editing is subpar, with numerous repetitive scenes that drag down the film's pace. Suresh Bala's cinematography is decent in parts, but overall, the production values are merely average.

Miral Review (2024) Movie: Disadvantages

  • BGM
  • Dubbing
  • Missing Thrills

Miral Review (2024) Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Miral starring Bharath and directed by Sakthivel fails to scare. Miral turns out to be disappointing, plagued by sluggish pacing, artificial characterizations, and a lack of logical coherence. The absence of genuine twists further detracts from the viewing experience. The inept screenplay fails to do justice to a story that had the potential to be far more engaging and thrilling. Taking all these factors into account, Cinejosh has given "Miral" a rating of 2 out of 5.
