Narayana and Co Review: Story Review

Narayana & Co's story is all about a middle-class family that lands in a financial problem and how they try to solve it and what developments they experience in their journey to resolve their problems. PK Narayana (Devi Prasad) is a bank accountant and leads a middle-class life with his wife Janaki (Aamani), and two sons Anand (Sudhakar Komakula) and Subbu (Jai Krishna). They land in serious financial problems and time starts running out for them.

This forces them to take an extreme decision. To find out why they ran into the financial problem, what decision they have taken, how they came out of it, how is Preeti (Arati Podi), Nalini (Pooja Kiran), Sona (B.Yamini), politician Shankar (Thothapalli Madhu), Surya Bhai (Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu), cop Arjun (Ali Reza) and bank manager (Srikanth Iyengar) are connected to it, form the crux of the story.

Narayana and Co Review: Artists Review

Sudhakar Komakula played the role to near perfection. His dialogue delivery is good and his body language is impressive. He not only played the lead role but also took the backseat when required letting others to dominate the proceedings. Sudhakar Komakula should be commended for believing in the story and the script. He expressed and emoted himself quite well.

Arati Podi played the role of a girl who becomes his wife. She did the subtle role silently and made her presence felt when required. Pooja Kiran impressed all with her performance in the role of a girl who behaves like a tomboy, smokes cigarettes and takes on everyone, and comes up with unimaginable and unthinkable ideas.

Devi Prasad stole the show in the role of Sudhakar's father. He gave his best performance and he elevated the scenes with his expressions and emotions. Aamani played the role of Sudhakar's mother. She supported Devi Prasad quite well but at times she became overboard. Ali Reza played the role of a cop well and Thothapalli Madhu played the role of politician in a good way. Srikanth Iyengar, and Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu played other roles accordingly.

Narayana & Co Review: Technicians Review

Narayana & Co story readied by Ravi Golli is a comedy crapper revolving around a middle-class family. Rajiv Kosanam penned dialogues that are mostly entertaining and rib-tickling. He tried his best to include as many fun elements as possible. Chinna Papisetty worked on the story to make it presentable on the screen. He concentrated on generating enough fun in all the scenes as much as possible.

He introduced the family of Narayana & Co in a funny manner and their weaknesses. From then on he tried to take viewers on a hilarious ride. His screenplay is decent and the direction is fine up to a point. The scenes are relatable and natural and he got good expressions and emotions from the family members of Narayana. But at times he lost steam in between and one gets a feeling that the first half ended on an abrupt note.

The second half takes off in a similar manner and most of the time, Chinna Papietty got the best out of the entire cast and crew. The story finally ends on a sedate note with a message stating that middle-class families shouldn't fall into the trap of anti-social elements.

Rahul Srivatasav's cinematography beautified the film. He used the camera in such a way as to give a rich feel to the film on the big screen. The editing of Srujana Adusumilli is good but in both halves, there are many drags that impacted the film's narration and the flow. The background music is good and it elevated the scenes. The film's music is tuned by Josyabhatla Rajasekhar, Suresh Bobblli, and Naga Vamshi. The songs are shot in a beautiful manner with good choreography and in good locations.

Romantic song Paravasame is shot in a beautiful and appealing manner on Sudhakar Komakula and Arati Podi. Then another party song Dachaku Dacha, the middle-class anthem is shot in a lavish way. The production values of Papisetty Film Productions are good.

Narayana & Co : Advantages

  • Sudhakar Komakula
  • Performances
  • A couple of songs
  • Hilarious Scenes

Narayana & Co : Disadvantages

  • Monotonous Scenes
  • Uneven Narration

Narayana & Co Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Narayana & Co turns out to be a fun-filled family. Chinna Papisetty teamed with Sudhakar Komakula and got suitable casting who could do full justice to the roles. Aided by the story of Ravi Golli, Chinna Papisetty came up with an entertaining screenplay, and the dialogues of Rajiv Kosanam supported him in the mission. A little bit of fine-tuning of the script would have turned the family of Narayana & Co more foolproof and profitable. Considering all these points, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 Rating for Narayana & Co.
