Altogether, Prathinidhi 2 is a predictable political thriller. TV5 Murthy makes his directorial debut with Prathinidhi 2, aiming to elevate Nara Rohit's career to new heights with this sequel to the hit film "Prathinidhi". While the film starts with an engaging narrative, it loses momentum at times due to the incorporation of conventional elements. The investigative aspect of the story leaves a strong impact, and although the dialogues are powerful, they tend to become overly preachy. The storyline, screenplay, and direction are decent to some extent. One should however, commend Murthy's attempt to give some advice to the people ahead of the elections. Taking all these factors into consideration, Cinejosh gives Prathinidhi 2 a rating of 2.25
