Samajavaragamana (2023) Movie: What's Behind

Sree Vishnu's upcoming entertainer Samajavaragamana is appealing to movie lovers with an interesting feel-good title. The film's teaser and trailer got a good response and with Mega Star Chiranjeevi releasing the trailer, expectations increased. Debutante Ram Abbaraju directs the film. The film's OTT rights are yet to be finalized and streaming will be after the end of its theatrical run. The film is slated for a grand release on 29 June 2023 and let us find out what Sree Vishnu offered to movie lovers.

Samajavaragamana Movie: Story Review

Samajavaragamana's story is about two youngsters falling in love and how their love story progresses vis a vis their family members. Balu aka Balasubramaniam (Sree Vishnu) works at the box office at Asian Cinemas. He happens to meet a beautiful girl Sarayu (Reba Monica John) while helping his father Uma Maheswara Rao (Sr Naresh).

In the process, they fall in love but even as they try to get the green signal from Sarayu's father (Sreekanth Iyengar), they come across startling developments. To find out those startling developments and how Badshah (Sudarshan), Kulasekhar (Vennela Kishore), and others are connected to it form the rest of the story.

Samajavaragamana Movie: Artists Review

Sree Vishnu slipped into the role effortlessly. His body language is good and his screen presence is captivating. He tried variations in his dialogue delivery. Sree Vishnu showed emotions and expressions as a caring son who loves his family and also a frustrated youngster who tries his best to win over his love. He carried the film on his shoulders and this role will be remembered as one of his best.

Reba Monica John on debut managed to win the hearts of all. She is good in the role of a bubbly and beautiful girl. Her chemistry with Sree Vishnu is the highlight of the film. She looked beautiful in a few scenes and looked apt for the girl-next-door role. Sr Naresh in the role of Sree Vishnu's father is the livewire in the film. His body language, dialogue delivery, mannerisms, and screen presence elevated the scenes to another level.

The scenes featuring Sree Vishnu and Sr Naresh livened up the atmosphere. Sree Vishnu and Sr Naresh with their performances created a laughing riot in the theatres.  Sudarshan is good in the role of Sree Vishnu's friend while Vennela Kishore made his presence felt in the role of Kulasekhar. Srikanth Iyengar made an impression with his performance. Rajeev Kanakala played an important role in the film which connects the missing link. Others like Raghu Babu, Devi Prasad, and Priya performed according to their roles.

Samajavaragamana Movie: Technicians Review

Samajavaragamana's story penned by Ram Abbaraju is nothing new. Many stories came earlier but he turned it entertaining with his screenplay and direction loading it with hilarious and entertaining scenes and dialogues. The way he showed father-son bonding with Naresh trying to clear the exam or Sree Vishnu trying to avoid love by trying rakhis, the scenes featuring Naresh and Sree Visnu or Naresh and Reba Monica John shows his penchant for comic timing and love for funny and entertaining elements.

He also connected the emotional chords, especially during the climax and this took the film to another level. It is known that for any film, climax becomes the make or break and here climax turned out to be the plus point. After all the hilarious scenes, he touched the emotional chords of all with the climax. It is true that logic went for a toss but that can be ignored as the director Ram Abbaraju's main aim which is to entertain movie lovers got fulfilled.

Dialogues should be mentioned especially as they are witty, spontaneous, and hilarious. However, right into the second half, the Rakhi scene and a few other scenes got dragged but whenever viewers felt that the scenes are stretched, the director made amends with hilarious dialogue. Ram Abbaraju got the optimum out of all the cast and crew and he emerged successful on his debut attempt.

Gopi Sunder came up with a couple of melodious and few foot-tapping numbers. All the songs are situational and are beautifully shot. They are placed perfectly in such a way that they do not disturb the narration in any manner. His background music is in sync with the storyline and ensured that the narration flowed in a smooth way. Chota K Prasad's editing is quite good in the first half but he left a few drags in the second half where repetitive scenes crept in. However, he did a decent job altogether. Production values of Haasya Movies and AK Entertainments are grand.

Altogether, Samajavaragamana is a light-hearted hilarious entertainer. Debutante Ram Abbaraju penned a story with family elements that are routine and predictable. However, he designed Sree Vishnu's character in such a way that it suits his body language. Aided by Sr Naresh's experience and hilarious scenes, though logic is missed and the narration lacks twists and turns, he ensured that witty dialogues will create a laughing riot. Though at times, a few scenes are dragged, he made up for that by generating immense fun. His screenplay and direction are quite good and considering all these points, Ram Abbaraju on debut hit the success bulls eye with a hilarious arrow in a powerful manner. Considering all these things Cinejosh goes with a 3 Rating for Samajavaragamana.
