Ashwin Babu's Shivam Bhaje Movie: Story Review

Shivam Bhaje story is all about a young man who works as a loan recovery agent and how his life turns upside down due to some shocking happenings and hot he deals with them.

Chandu aka Chandrashekhar ( Ashwin Babu) leads a contented life with his mother and sister and her gets fascinated by a beautiful girl Shailaja( Digangana Suryavanshi)

However shocking developments happen in his life and he gets entangled in the memories of the police dog Dogra. Where this leads to and what is Operation Lama and how it is connected to ACP Murali ( Arbaaz Khan) and others form rest of the developments.

Shivam Bhaje Telugu Movie: Artists Review

Ashwin Babu as usual put in lot of effort for his role. He is sincere in his performance and worked hard for his role. He showed good emotions expressing his love, frustration etc according to the situation. His dialogue delivery is good.

Digangana Suryavanshi looked cute on screen. She did what is required of her. However her role is not powerfully written. Arbaaz Khan impressed with his screen presence but he just passed through the motions. Hyper Aadi ,Brahmaji tried to create few laughs. Tanikella Bharani, Murali Sharma, Tulasi and others performed according to their roles.

Shivam Bhaje Telugu Film: Technicians Review

Shivam Bhaje story panned by Apsar got some interesting elements. He tried to add devotional touch to science, touching upon Lord Shiva and the medical terminology Xenotransplantation. Though this sounded good, he failed to turn the film interesting with intense gripping and thrilling elements. He spent the entire first half with the romantic track, comedy track and even the investigation doesn't increase the interest levels. The second half narration nose dives and finally the rushed climax with no real twists disappoints all but at the same time, brings relief to the viewers after undergoing all the ordeal.

The cinematography of Dasaradhi Shivendra is good. He turned the film rich using the camera angles. Chota K Prasad's editing could have been far better. There are many scenes that impacted the flow of the narration. Vikas Badiga's music is just ok and background music is good. Production values are good.

Shivam Bhaje Movie: Advantages

  • Ashwin Babu
  • Few Scenes

Shivam Bhaje Movie: Disadvantages

  • Rushed Climax
  • Lacks Intensity

Shivam Bhaje (2024) Telugu Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Shivam Bhaje turns out to be silly thriller. Ashwin Babu has penchant for creativity but he should be realistic while giving inputs to his directors rather than just getting carried away by an interesting element. He did the same mistake with Shivam Bhaje getting fascinated by Apsar's interesting point. Little fine-tuning of the script and story would have added value. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2 star rating for Shivam Bhaje.
